This scrapbook was compiled by Sarah and Sallie Mendinhall. It primarily contains chromolithographed Christmas and New Year's cards with the name of the sender written beside each. Some cards fold out and some are decorated with fringe. Depictions on the cards include children, flowers, winter scenes, fairies, angels, and animals. Also included is an 1881 calendar. Lithographers represented include Marcus Ward, Raphael Tuck, L. Prang, Hildescheimer & Faulkner, and de la Rue.
